Water saving devices

A proven and low cost device to conserve water in toilet cisterns. Every time a toilet is flushed the device saves up to three litres of water. It will also reduce your carbon footprint and save you money. Please note that these devices are not suitable for dual flush cisterns.

These can be infrared censored or set to flush at certain times. The infrared version will detect movement in the washroom and a pulse from the sensor opens the normally-closed solenoid valve and water flows to the cistern; at the same time the sensor is switched off. After a period of time the power is restored to the sensor and, as long as no movement is detected for five minutes, the solenoid valve closes, shutting off the water supply to the cistern.
