Water2business renews partnership with nationwide cosmetics company, Lush

Water2business, a national water retailer serving 82,000 UK customers, have extended their partnership with cosmetics company Lush for a further three years. After an initial three year contract where water2business provided water and wastewater services to 91 of Lush’s retail stores, offices and manufacturing sites in England and Scotland, the handmade producer of fresh, cruelty free cosmetics have officially re-signed to continue the partnership built on a combined passion for customer excellence and sustainability.

Environmental sustainability is at the heart of Lush’s business plan and the plan for a greener future forms part of every decision they make. water2business, who are known for their clear message of service, sustainability and savings, will be working with the nationwide retailer to support in the reduction of water wastage by extending their automated meter reading (AMR) service across key sites, enabling Lush to more carefully manage water usage and promptly spot any areas for concern.

AMR allows water usage to be tracked on a 15-minute basis with an alarm system notifying of any large or sudden increase. This will allow water2business to act quickly to determine the reason for increased usage and stop any wastage, which without AMR could be taking place until the following bill is produced.

The water retailer will also be working with the cosmetics company to provide consolidated billing for all sites, providing a dedicated account manager and a single point of contact for all water and wastewater billing queries.

Managing Director of water2business, Charley Maher, said:
