Investing in skills for the future

water2business is a sponsor of Young Water Dragons, an initiative created by the Future Water Association, that celebrates and aims to find future creative thinkers, leaders and entrepreneurs of the water sector. Investing in future skills and talent is critical to ensure that the water sector remains fit for purpose and delivers the outcomes current and future customers expect.

The goal of the initiative is to encourage as many schools as possible to think about water, to develop water based projects and to bring forward new ideas which challenge our current thinking. Working with the Science Council and Engineering UK, the Young Water Dragons has been granted a special award category at The Big Bang UK Young Scientists and Engineers Competition in March 2018.

The Future Water Association is looking for more businesses to support this initiative to help increase visibility and grow the award and to support their work with schools to put water at the top of the careers agenda. The opportunity to support Young Water Dragons is open to all companies and organisations. To register your interest please contact admin@futurewaterassociation.com and put 'Young Water Dragons' in the subject line.

water2business works with schools to help them improve their water efficiency and wastewater compliance. Our water management package is tailored to individual school needs but will cover areas such as a water efficiency audit to identify issues and opportunities for water saving, data loggers and meters to measure and review water consumption, legionella risk assessments, funding options, water regulations such as drinking water quality, leak detection and education about sustained water efficiency for both staff and pupils.
